China can produce it in their factory using their labor, and you can bring it into the states with no penalty (tariff), 99% profit margins while not employing a single American other than yourself, and a salesman. No electric bill to pay, no factory or employee pensions to pay.

Ask your *trusted elected officials* how they wrote the laws that allowed that without being tried for treason, next time you get a chance.

Hell even GM and Harley Davidson have gone factory-less.

It's all fun and games until the US can't print money out of thin air anymore, replacing wages with expanded credit.

While you are right to a certain extent there is more to it.
Our Tax system penalizes the American working class. More you work more taxes you pay. That is great if we were only buying Made in America stuff. But when we buy things made some where else then they are not paying ANY income taxes and basically all they are paying is an inspection fee that is not much. Plus millions of Illegal Aliens, Topless dancers, prostitutes, drug dealers are not paying any Federal Income taxes.

If we are going to operate in a "Global Economy" then we need to be taxed at point of sale. Then it does not matter where it is made it would support our Government. Problem is we already can not afford our Government and if we changed our Tax System now they would just screw us harder.
