750 or 950 alky carb
Question-I race a 68 camaro,3100 lbs with me in it,383 sbc 14-1,5000 stahl converter,glide,4.56 gears,on alky.runs 10.20's ,550 lift,260 int 266 ex at .050 flat tappet solid cam with Dart ported 215 iron eagle heads and a super victor intake.Would you suggest using one of the new 750 billet or 950 billet alky carb?I currently use an old 817 cfm alky carb with a 750 base plate.

It will be faster with the larger carb.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

Get a custom billet with 1.500 venturi and a 1 3/4 base. Braswell or BLP machined .450 down legs. Or if you don't run an under carb stop the oval blade 1000 would be a good choice.
