Currently running a 23.5” tire on a spindle. Anybody have experience if I were to change to a 24.5” tire if there is any MPH or ET to gain? The larger tire should have a lower rolling resistance. Car goes ~175 mph.

It would not make a very big change at all. Would change reaction time some, ET just a little and Probably not even be able to tell any MPH difference.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

I went from a 23” to 29” and was surprised how little the reaction time was affected. My footbrake truck does yank the tires into the air pretty quickly with a 15.3 SLR (2.48 X 6.17 gear on 33” tall big tire).

And much of that can be controlled with front tire pressure.
