Yes RFD. yes on alky, was at 33* all this year with 632, never really played with it.
with 582 i ran 34*, then tried 36*, it liked 36*

Ran gas one day this year, it ran the same thing. mirror image of alky all the way down.

588. Launch at 4500. Shift at 7400. Falls back to 6400. Go through the traps right around 7400.

On injected alcohol and the engine likes 37* but I also race at altitude where more timing can be used.

When I ran mine in a heads up class I would launch at 3600-3800 rpm and shift at 8200 rpm. This was on a little 275/60 DOT radial tire, 1.69 glide, 4.57 in the rear. 1/8 mile would go through the traps at 8200-8400 rpm.

Now detuned to run index stuff I have been launching at 4200 rpm, shifting at 7500 rpm and goes through the traps at 7300-7400 in the 1/4 mile, 2.10 th400, 4.10 gear, 315 DOT radial. This season I'm gonna try shifting at 6500 rpm to slow the car some more.
