Team Woodfin has a unique project just beginning. Jeff Woodfin found and bought, Rick Moroso's 2000 Vette which he raced in the NMCA classes. The build and details are just beginning so stand by for a few unique and bad to the bone buildup.

Rick Moroso bought this Vette new and drove it from the dealership to the Moroso shop where it was converted to a race car.

Jeff has a great eye for detail and design so this will be a and first-class piece.

A few notes before the pics begin.

The Vette was built in 2001 and raced for several years in the NMCA series. Then it was stored until about three years ago when a fellow in Chicago area bought it. That owner never did anything with it, Jeff got wind of the possibility and struck a deal.

We did a round trip, non-stop treck and brought to our shop in Kilgore. Now we have it down to the bare chassis for water/media blasting. The Vette is unique in that all the body panels, including the rear quarters, are bolted on. It has been back halved, four-link, anti-roll, and has plenty of tire room. The front is a TRZ/Racetech K member with tube arms and pinto rack.

Jeff keeps talking about a supercharged LS. He usually follows through with ideas Smile
