Crankshaft centerline in relation to the pinion.

Less up pinion angle.

The crankshaft angle of the engine in relation to the frame rails. More up angle equals more hook, less up or even down angle equals less hook.

I a word, no.

I am talking about a hardtail car here, so the pinion angle does not change under power. Didn't change the pinion angle, just the engine angle relative to the frame rails.

Believe it or not there is some wiggle room in the coupler between the engine/trans angle and the pinion.

We changed the engine angle 1.5° without moving the pinion/rearend. The two halves coupler still slid in and out smoothly after the change...……..I would not have believed this, but the guys at Elite said it would work, and they were right.

In that case the engine angle was reinvented parallel with the face of the rearend housing and motorplate. Same concept.

Just the rear, since the front of the engine was going lower they were able to use the front one over.....

They are just like regular saddle except the "tab" that the motor plate bolts to is on a jack screw affair to raise and lower the "tab" to raise and lower the front of the motor to take bite away or add it.
Super popular on the comp eliminator hard tail dragsters.
Spitzer has built a bunch of them.
Hell we run our comp car -1.5 down in the front to try to take the wheel stands away

What about the midplate? Do you have to put spacers in it for the angle change? Are the mounts adjustable too?
