Nice to see Edelbrock cast and machine these blocks in the U.S.
I wonder what the price point of a 4.5" bore, 4-bolt main BBC casting will be? Looks like some nice foundry work in the pictures... Only short deck, max bore 4.600, will take a 4.5" stroke, so 598 max CID.

Summit Racing shows the 4.125" bore 400 mains at $2049, for a block not even as good(regarding available features) as the Dart SHP.....they've already started out on the wrong foot, pricing themselves right out of the market.

Being late to he game means it either has to be a big improvement on features, or priced less than the matching deal from your competitors.

Typical Edelbrock, overpriced and underdelivering.

I like Edelbrock products. Gonna wait some then maybe buy one of there blocks. You get what you pay for
