Alright flame away!!!
I believe front wheel bearing is going bad at 70,000 miles and being told by dealer that isn’t covered by warrantee so looking on Summits website I see 3 choices, Moog , Timken, ACDelco so which would be the best choice? I believe ACDelco is original equipment so I would knock that one out of the picture if so beings the original didn’t last for ****. My old truck had over 225,000 before I replaced one side. The Moog is $100 more than the other two option but is it really a better setup? More than willing to pay the money but don’t want to be replacing it again in four years.

I would run either Moog or Timken if it were me and not lose any sleep over it. Just an FYI Rockauto.com has the Timken for $128.79 and the Moog for $191.79

I wouldn't be surprised if the Moog has a Timken bearing in it.

Front wheel bearing on a 4x4 is not considered part of the powertrain? Seems crappy of them...
I did put a Rock Auto one on my 2002 4x4 at 250K + miles. It was significantly less costly than any local parts house.

I don’t really think it is wheel bearing but it is the weird problem I ever had with a car. Brake caliper releases just fine but I am getting a lot of heat at the hub. It kinda acts like a warped rotor but the vibration will show up when not on the brakes plus it does not act like a warped rotor at low speeds. Taking rotor in morning to get cut and see if warped.

Vibration is back, although I don’t think it ever went completely away. I can go around a bend and it will start vibration, only over 70 mph then come out of the bend and it go away. I guess I am going to have to fork out some dough and take to dealer.

Jack up one side and see if there is any lost motion in the wheel up and down. This should tell you if the bearing is bad. And I’d use the timken bearing if needed.

I haven't check recently but when it started this spring I checked the bearing several times and there was no play in it.
Wayne if it is going to show up in the scanner wouldn't i have a light lit up in the dash?
