OEM aluminum Powerglide case.....

Are the cooler outlets on an OEM case tapered pipe thread or straight pipe thread? Seems I've run into a difference of opinion with some powerglide builders.

All OE Aluminum cases are 1/8 pipe tapered [NPT] cooler fittings.

there is no thing as straight pipe thread .the other replies are correct
