What are you trying to do? I always wanted to try a dump for n/a vs. nos situations.


Raise the converter stall/flash at the launch.


A dump on the fill side of the converter will do that easily.

If I wanted to do that, I'd want a 125 - 135 psi exhaust converter pressure reading on the out cooler line to start off with. I'd accomplish that reading by the specific input shaft and stator tube i'd choose, rather than jacking the transmission line pressure to the moon.

235 psi line pressure will do it in conjuction with a specific stator tube and input configuration I've used in the past, and have on the shelf.

25psi at the out cooler line on the trans brake, deactivate the dump at trans brake release.
