Putting a seal in it, new bearings in the motor, making new vanes. The wear in the black piece is really superficial. Mostly just surface scratches. Delrin is really a good wear resistant plastic. We machine thousands of pounds of it a year. This pump came on the car when I bought it in 2005. It has a 2003 year stamp on the motor end and I've never had it apart before. After looking inside it I should have though. LOL Alcohol is tough on stuff. |

| Looks from picture like that black rubber around delrin may be o-ring. A good Bearing shop may be able to get your bearings and seals you need. Or Aerospace may sell them. https://postimg.cc/gallery/np3zpruo/"Dunning-Kruger Effect" -a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge. Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue. 4X NE2 CHAMPION. 2020 TDRA NE2 Champion |

Getting all those is no problem. Motor bearings will be here today. Yes that was an o-ring. Just didn't want to mess up the Delrin part and have to machine another one if I didn't remove it right. That is all I haven't gotten apart yet. It's in there pretty good. Gonna heat the housing slightly and see if that helps. |
