Seams everyone is zoomed in on the question vs the big picture. Simple fact - A wheel will deflect more as BS moves away from center under load. But we are talking about a drag tire, the amount the tire moves during a run vs wheel is just like adding a drop of water to the ocean,,, it just don't care!

Kind of my thought,but never hurts to hear what others have to say or think.Now what you do with it could be different.LOL

Asked because looking at new wheels for FED and have spacer now,doint away with them is part of reason. Also might be going narrower atr same time.That is whole different subject and I know how we all ahte to get off topic around here.LMAO!!!!!

Comes down to how competitive your tires will be. If you have even wear, you ain't beating up one sidewall more than the other.

Take care of the sidewall, the tire is competitive, longer.
