working on moving the battery to the nose on my dragster.

I've ran a optima red top, group 34, 800cca(1000@32 degrees) amp battery for ever with an alternator with no issues for ever. it's too tall to fit in the nose of my dragster. need one less then 7" tall.

can I get away with a XS S1200 725 amp@32 degrees. run an alternator and usually charge in between rounds.
