after being on the fence for the past 2 years about a motorhome, I pulled the trigger last month and bought a 2008 Haulmark/Freightliner Columbia Super C...

42 foot, 2 slides, Mercedes 450 with 12 speed automatic transmission and Onan 10KW Generator. Also has a Dometic outdoor fridge and Blackstone grill.

Just completed our third road trip with it last weekend to VMP. Nice once you get were you're going but driving to where you are going takes some getting use to especially when you are 80 feet long.

You like "facts" so here's a couple facts. (not really, just my experienced opinions)

1. The only time a motorhome is good is when it's sitting still.

2. I wouldn't race without one.

I used to be a people person, but people ruined that.

Thats a nice set up....I used to be 77ft I think and now at 66 and you are correct you got to pay attention on the road and to where you pull off for fuel. I remember rolling across Texas with a 80mph speed limit and the 450 Cummins was loving fuel. You will get on to it and once you get there---HOW SWEET IT IS.

be sure to look at bridge hieghts, measure with the air fully up to the top of the highest point on that rig. I never had those problems in Texas but up here it seems there are some short ones everywhere

I don’t know for certain how tall this truck is but I was told don’t go under any overpass that isn’t at least 13 feet clear.
