Who makes the best alt brackets. I have a home made bracket that has worked but is too hard to get tight enough, I am having trouble with throwing belts and squeeling belts. Would like the best low mount Big block alt bracket that I could have by the weekend. Thank you
When setting up the belt driven accessories lay a long, straight piece of brake line, threaded rod or wooden dowel across the pulleys. It will make any mis-alignment MUCH more obvious than just eye-balling it with the belt on.

Go to Powermaster web site. Thy have a lot of different brackets with drawings and measurements so you see if it will fit. Also good quality.
