Got cold feet on the 50204 camshaft, this is the new deal, be here in three weeks From Lunati 77 degrees overlap.

Intake is going to the porter today, every port match fitted to the head.

PEP 4340 crankshaft took very little weight to neutral balance. Should get everything back from the machinist this week.

Looking good.

Looking to make 585 pd ft torque at 6800 rpms.

750 hp n/a 10:1 compression Big Block Chevrolet.

Needs to make 1.33 pd ft tq per cubic inch peek, around 5800 rpm.

The last 10:1 compression hydraulic roller camshaft 496 engine I did made 622 pd ft tq peek at 5700 rpm, 1.25 pd ft tq per cubic inch.

I think it'll be a walk in the park 489 cubic inches this go around, solid roller camshaft, Edelbrock Victor Jr 454 intake.

Someones gonna have a helluva pump gas roller coaster ride to jump in anytime they like, sitting their garage.

They make decent power too, obviously.

There's some decent pieces I can use in these engines, and still sell them real reasonably priced I couldn't if I went with a higher end cylinder head, plus availability is a big problem, when on the other hand these are available on the spot every day of the week, year round, no wait.

I think they're excellent actually, especially for the price. Decent power.

They're a little tricky to get the valve train right, but I've solved that detail.

3,000 - 7,000

74 degrees overlap

Should be absolutely perfect, within reason.
