What ET and speed are you comfortable running head on into a solid wall? The truth is I'm okay with you not wearing one but I wear what I want without concern for what anyone else thinks.

Not that I care what you think, but my car goes 4.6x/7.3x so it’s required. Also not sure why you feel the need to be condescending in about half of your posts.

I only have an 8.50 to 8.20 car depending on where I run and I am very comfortable wearing a head and neck restraint. Thank you very much. No explanation needed to anyone.

Not sure what you performance has to do with it.More whats your head worth and in some case 400 bucks is way over priced.

Guess since my cae doesn't have chance at running 4.20's,buying new valve body before restraints made more sense than dollars.

I just purchased a Neckgen on a black Friday deal since my ol Leatt couldn't be re-certed because they quit making restraints for cars. My first impression is that I like it overall. It is a little shorter than my old one but it will take 3" belts so I don't have to have mine sewn down to 2". It was a little difficult to get the larger Leatt on once in the car, but with the Neckgen it is cake. I am sure after two passes it will be old hat and become very comfortable. Nice product.

Dawg, one thing I like about my Necksgen is that I can put my thumbs in the D shaped buckles and my fingers around the helmet connectors and it will guide them right in to hook up.

Lol... So ya'll dont have the fastest cars at the track after all. Just a bunch of "three steppers" that keep em at ten and two and dont take their eyes off the road...

Driver safety is mandated by the sanctioning body, they list the minimum required.

That being said, I have a Necksgen for my 10 second door car. I guess you'll make fun of me next for wearing an SFI-5 jacket and pants when they aren't required.

Turned liberal? Telling everyone else what they need based on your opinion.

Its ten and tit not ten and two. Reason I learned to shift 4 spd with knee .so as not to have to remove hand from her tit.

Lmao, liberal? At what point did I suggest to anybody what they should or should not be doing? I am merely making fun of a group of people that completely fail to understand the core principals of the sport they participate in. Sounds to me youre the one turning liberal wide, on accounts of the hurt feelings and twisting my words around to fit your own agenda.

Tom Reyer, yes we are making fun of you. Do you drive on freeways without it or does that scare you also? Asking for a friend.

Reed guy, not as weak as your apparent pencil neck.

That's a little better.

So wearing a piece of safety gear you don't want to wear goes against some supposed "core principal"? That might be the funniest part so far. Laughing Hard
