Anybody running his stuff? How is his service. He's more or less local (500 miles). He's got an impressive internet sight. I'm looking for a 2.10 TH400. ... Eric.

The REAL question is..."can you afford him"
I priced a glide a year and a half ago,and he was about $1500.00 higher than others.
Good luck,Grant

I have used Hutch's stuff for over 15 years. He is a straight shooter and works hard to keep customers happy. You can buy cheaper and it comes down to value.

I currently use one of his glides with 1.80 straight cut gear set, 300M input and Reid case. He also has many 400s out there also.

Give him a call.

Have spoken to him on the phone a few times and seemed to be a good guy. Another trans builder I know over in the Chitown area knows him well and speaks very highly of him.

I've not run any of his transmissions, but his input shafts are the cats a$$. I've got several of them in use without any failures in high HP, big tired dragsters which tend to be hard on them. I've even got one of his super duty one's and it's like nothing I've ever seen. If he's close, you can't go wrong by him. Super guy and super service.

I run one of his TH400's in my ride now. I went through a couple trans builders previously and they have never performed as well as this Hutch trans has.

He is a great guy to deal with as well.

Carl is without a doubt a very well respected trany builder

Have you ever had one of Hutchs tranys & have you ever had any experiences with Hutch. I can guarantee if you did you would be speaking the same of him that you are of Carl.

Eric you will not be dissapointed by spending you hard erned money with Hutch, since he is by far one of the best trany guys in North America & his customer service is second to none.

Hutch ain't that guy nor can he lay claim to having his transmissions in virtually every competitive and record holding stock/super stock car in the country!

That guy is Carl Rossler!

Funny, but 40 ft too long.

There is another that has done amazing things with 400's for a long time, John Kilgore.

Dave, Carl don't know me, I'm just ANOTHER very satisfied customer who will buy another trans from him and who will continue to recommend his services/transmissions based on my 1st hand experience!

BTW, his trans is just as responsible for my 1.28 60 foots as is my ATI converter!!

Ed,
wow,a trans that holds up in a 9 sec car..you sure like to toot your own horn..and to downplay people you don't know...hutch has transmissions in 6 and 7 sec cars that hold up and these are 3200lb and up ,heads up cars with more than 2000hp...all of them build good transmissions but who are you to say so and so is the best when all you have is a 800hp motor?

and yes,i have a car that will outrun you,but i aint got a bunch of stock this and stock that that weighs 4 tons.so dont harp on that crap with me.

yep ,its fast.

another wannabe heads up racer posting/lurking at Bracket Talk that thinks he knows and feels compelled to reply!Roll Eyes

Since YOU obviously don't know about Carl's Transmissions, reputation, accomplishments and customers in heads up racing in addition to those in NHRA/IHRA Sportsman classes, allow me to educate you to a few more FACTSRazz

Carl Rossler's words...

"My test car, a 1955 Chevy Belair competes at any heads up Door Slammer race . This car weighs 2625 lbs. It also runs mufflers, turn signals, brake, tail &head lights, with the best ET of 6.47 @213-1/4mile, 4.19 1/8mile. Powering the car is a 738ci big block, in front of our Th210. The strongest Automatic on the Planet! This is a Rossler Exclusive, not just a Turbo 400. The Rossler TH210 is assembled with all the state of the art, billet and modified components, never seen in any other type of transmission. These exclusive transmission components are designed using the latest CAD technology and machined in house on our state of the art CNC equipment. The 210 x 140, 6 & 5 pinion gear sets (6 pinion front and 5 pinion Rear with Torrington thrust bearings on the thrust side of the gears) are a Rossler exclusive and can not be purchased anywhere else. Don't let repeated failures and false promises from other transmission companies make you think that his can't work. The Rossler TH210 is engineered and tested for success."

Clicking on this link will further enlighten you to some of his customers, perhaps you've heard of some of themRazz

http://www.rosslertrans.com/Customer%20Rides%20Gallery.htm

Oh and many have a car that can "outrun" me/mine including those with overtired, underpowered, cutup, gutted shytboxes!

Your point is?Roll Eyes
