433redRacepak single wire water temp sensor
My single wire Racepak temp sensor did not survive the last time it was separated from the gauge wire. Before purchasing a new Racepak sensor I could benefit by using a sensor that is assembled within a 1/2" NPT base rather than using a reducing bushing to match the 1/8"NPT threads on the Racepak sensor. Anyone on this forum found an alternative sensor that will provide accurate data? Even knowing the ohm to temperature scale would be sufficient. Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Greg KelleyNothing I have seen matches the resistance curve (which I have never taken the time to map-out).
The problem with the single wire sensors is over tightening.

CashflowGreg,
Not to steal the thread but when I was talking to you the other day I learned something about that Racepak.
The plastic holder for the memory card is “keyed” and I didn’t know that. I was putting the card in correctly but when I removed the old card and put in the new memory card I had the holder upside down. Learn something every day I guess.
