| I have used the Mallory 4309 regulator with good results. What ever you use I highly recommend a return style. | I don't have a specific regulator to recommend because there are many that work. I use the bigtop Holley. Whichever you decide to use check the orifice size on it. I would recommend one that has at least a .4375" orifice. Dead head will work just fine on a drag car. Return style is easier on the pump and will draw less amps though but adds cost and complication of plumbing. I have a brand new BLP return style regulator laying in the tool box in my trailer still because of that very reason. LOL Curtis

| I have used several over the years, but Moroso return log is best I have used. Simple and also one of the less expensive options. Had on both electric pumps and currently belt drive pump setup. Have used with both gas and alky. Just keep trash out of the system... and they work great! To question about pressure at idle - electric should be same all the time, but belt drive is designed low at idle and up with rpm. The Moroso bypass works great with both. good luck Ken

| Is there an issue using your PE regulater? I ask because I run their bypass regulaters on two cars and I’m getting ready to switch to methanol. They’ve both been trouble free with gasoline for many many years. Both cars will print timeslips but we are now paying $16 a gallon for c12 out here in the long state on the “left”. (didn’t want to use the “C” word) quote:
