Anyone have any experience with one. Do they work?

Yes sir. Like sliced bread. I think the guy at the 1000 Ft was tired of bring the cap back to me.

Nothing like blowing hot liquid all over your friends car in the other lane. True story.

I was using a standard cap with the lever, and zip tying it to the overflow fitting to keep it in place. Got the Mezeire cap, problem solved!

Steve, I sold three chrome caps and chrome thermostats to your Brother last week. The total ticket was $13.77 so don't let him overcharge you

This topic is giving me a little deja vu. Didn't we have a long thread about these radiator caps a year or so ago? And one of the posters suggested something to the effect that the only radiator cap that could do the job was the absolutely most expensive one on the market, professionally installed by Tim McAmis, and if you couldn't afford that, you were too broke **** to be allowed on a dragstrip? Maybe that thread wasn't about radiator caps. Maybe it was valve stem caps, or center caps, or ball caps... Take care. Tom Worthington

If it seems that bracket racing has gotten too expensive for you, maybe you are just doing it wrong.

On a normal cap what decides the pressure you use? I currently have a 13lb on a car i bought. I always have used 18-22lb caps.

Every pound of pressure raises the boiling point around 2-3 degrees. A 13lb cap puts you up over 250 degrees which is probably 50* higher than any of us will ever let our motors get. Engines with copper head gaskets shouldn't use any higher than a 7-10 lb cap as copper head gaskets don't do a fantastic job of resisting water leaks.
