Hey Verdigo, you look lonely over here. What's up with the local boys? I thought they would fill this thing up, especially with the bashing they were doing to VMP.

How many different cars have we raced at Richmond?
I started in the mid sixties with a .......,never mind that's too depressing, a reminder of how old I am. It didn't matter if it was a 19 second truck or a 9 second firebird, as long as it was going down that track. Now if we could just talk them into getting a "HOOTERS" concession stand!

Thanks for the comments guys - our team worked so hard on the first weekend that it was nice to relax a bit and enjoy all of the great racing this past weekend - good car count, tons of people and awesome track conditions made Sunday's event very memorable - hope to see you at the track real soon - Verdigo - where have you been hiding - we want to see some action on the track from your ride!!

See everyone at the races - keep those cars safe and straight!

Johnny

Johnny, working out the new motor blues.I had some oil Gremlins in the crankcase Saturday so,I had to pull the engine. What the Chief and I have found,is an oiling problem. This is the first time we have run this combination of things,so we just have to work at it and come back out swinging.I should be back very soon. Richmond was great on sun you missed a awsome day. The track was GREAT the car only varied .0046 over four runs. Duane did a good job driving, won bogey just came up short in the second round. [Frown] I had to work sun morning so I told him to drive, wanted to go for two in arow.
Hope to se you sat and sun. [Cool]

thanks for the compliment on the track prep. we just did what we normally do, we have to thank mother nature for the great track conditions. no rain, a down track breeze, and below 70 degrees makes for an awesome race day. this week should just be a great as last weekend. and we will have a treat for everyone in 2 weeks for the "pro stock klash", we really go the extra mile on track prep when we have pro stocks or funny cars. which will make the bracket racing even closer. see you guys this weekend.

Thanks jeff, how was your pass after the oil down on the starting line?

For all that do not know i am going through custody cases for my 16 month old daughter, and im not gonna be able to spend as much time at the track, Johnny did the track prep today before the race and did an awesome job, he deserves all the credit.

Everyone is in good hands and im sure everyone is in store for a great race day next weekend. 4 IHRA pro stocks, awesome track prep, and im sure we will have other pro stocks wanting to test, should be an awesome day for racers and spectators.

Chris

Chris,my 60' times were 1.343,1.343 on my two time runs in two separate lanes and 1st round as you know,I was in the burnout box when the guy lost the rear and went 1.340 60' and ran dead on my dial.Too bad I was .498 red. [Frown]
Good Luck with your family,I know that has to be tough.

Hey Verdigo, **** boy, with runs like that you should have won the race...Might want to leave well enough alone. But hey, I definately know what it is like to chase a number, heck, I am still doing it. Seems like the ole bird is ready to play.
