Vancouver expects to be the
first city in Canada with an
electric firetruck
The electric fire truck costs
$300k more than the diesel
model. Pumps 40% less
water & needs a diesel
"extender" engine to make
it useful
The future looks bright

Someone is going to make a LOT of money with the California mandate to eliminate gasoline powered vehicles and lawn equipment. California Legislatures/ Lawmakers are at the front end of that chow line expecting each of them to make millions. You can expect Legislatures/Lawmakers in your State to do the same.

Do they care if they bankrupt citizens, and overload the power grid....not one bit!

It's always all about power and wealth. Never before in American history can I point to a time where the wealthy had as much power legislatively over the population. In the robber barons days, it was all wealth being the power. But the American government has been corrupted to the point where they can no use its full force to gain further wealth and power. Hell today's robber barons actually work for the US government. And we make the mistake of reelecting them based on their false claims of being for the people. A giant bunch of thieves. This one would be the one that ought to cause an all out revolt in the state of Cali. It ought to be political suicide. But no. The corruption is as deep as in Illinois politics, and the corruption will prevail.

Just wait till all those electric vehicles are plugged in at once, gas & nuclear power is shut down, and lake Mead is dry. No electric, no gas, no water. Sounds like a nice place.

We are ok but there are many who are not.

As I write this, it is 110* at 150pm thursday here in Vegas. Drove by the new Tesla charging station they just put in by the local Lowes parking lot, all 10 chargers working and 2 cars waiting. Power company asking to be diligent in power use, but I guess that doesnt mean EVs cause that will be the cure to all our problems. I could contribute to the cause and drive my golf cart to the store which is less then a mile from the house, but when I get home Id have to plug it in, and that wouldnt be diligent in saving power. Catch 22.

Trudeau is offering euthanasia for the elderly in Canada.

The endgame is to price the serfs out of energy.

Notice too, all nations in lockstep under the WEF.

From the article,
Why it matters: As more cars plug in, EVs could actually make the grid more resilient by supplying electricity back to the network when it's needed most.

I do not believe that. EV MFG would be all over that unknown (fact)??

Would you buy a vehicle that charges you to have it charged then put power back into the grid only to charge you again?
Am I reading that correctly from the article?

Amid Heat Wave, California Asks Electric Vehicle Owners to Limit Charging

It is not the first time extreme heat has affected drivers of electric vehicles. Last month, a heat wave in China created havoc for drivers, according to reporting by MIT Technology Review. During a Texas heat wave in July, Tesla also asked its customers to avoid charging their cars at peak times.

Can we evacuate from hurricanes with electric vehicles?

Would electric vehicles present major problems during natural disaster evacuations?

This BS will last a few years then die a slow miserable death.
States can't keep up with their current power usage, how in the WORLD are they going to expect the grid to keep up with MORE power drain from people trying to charge their cars, or use a heat pump to keep warm.
