Ken Booley wins the Race of Champions/ King of the Track Wally race at SIR Tucson AZ yesterday. Six tough rounds of racing, nice job Ken!

Thanks everybody,
I am very fortunate to have many good friends and family to help and support me along the way. Chuck Hawk Automotive built the transmission in my car and 3 other cars in the finals Saturday. Don's Hot Rod Shop make sure we get the parts we need. Jeff and Landshark thank you for a great car. Martin and I have been running around together for awhile now, and he kept me focused in between rounds and as always offers words of encouragement! The best part of the day was having my daughter in the picture with us! Fritz, I'm not sure I would say my SBC was dominating, more like I cut a couple of good lights, got a couple of breaks when needed, in the final put my faith in the car, and last but not least avoided making big mistakes. I ran Matt Hawk in the final and I knew he was going to be tough! MOV.004 SIR has good racers and its hard to make the win light come on any round, I was very fortunate on Saturday. Hey treble fan, let me know if you find a 2 for 1 on Jr's, maybe if we start saving up now?? Many thanks to everybody, Ken |
