We have managed to put most farmers far far into debt and leases and in a position of owning little. And we have Gates bying farms at a staggering rate. I'm afraid that the direction we are heading will result in bloodshed eventually. And a totalitarian state.

Well Dictator Biden has started a Federal Department for "Disinformation" meaning any opinion he does not like. You do not like masks? You will be targeted. You do not want to get the Vaccine? You will be targeted. You support Trump? You will be targeted as an insurrectionist.
While he says it is to target misinformation it is really to shut down opposing opinions and Freedom of Speech. Obama has been making speeches lately promoting it to.

I was wondering what was driving fuel prices. The oil per barrel cost wasn't adding up to the fuel prices. This helps make sense of what we are seeing.

That has been a sacred cow of the tree huggers for decades. It would be a sacrilege to build new capacity.

Another holiday and it's still going up. We just went over $4 a gallon for E10 regular around here. Not sure I remember it getting over that price point before. That puts the 100% I use at $4.52 a gallon I think it was.

We have to get more refining capacity or it will just keep heading up although that isn't the only reason.

On another note the current administration isn't the only thing holding back new oil production though. Read these articles. They are a couple months old but still relevant. The second makes some really good points about why investors would not want to drill themselves out of profits and a few scary ones getting the government involved. My company follows the boom and bust cycles of the industry so I totally understand the thought process written about.
