Lisa, if you're referencing a post someone made last week, I think it was they still needed 170 pre-entries, which would mean only 30 had pre-entered.

Which is deceiving, we wouldn't pre-enter a race that wasn't offering some sort of discount for doing so and was very unlikely to get 200 cars prior to us getting there.

Twisted dont know about 170 but over a 100 this race is better than alot give credit for. I personally like the race wish it was two days but it will give some of us a chance to support both.

Have not heard the counts this week,I know last Sunday it only had 27,but we all know that a lot like myself was going to hold off tell they seen what the weather was going to be as well as to hold on to their money a little longer,,i feel like it will be around a 100 or so,there is a 2nd chance race on Sunday also..I called the track but there was not any info about the car count on the recording...

As of yesterday they were at ~40-45 preentered/paid entries but they feel strongly that they should reach the 100 mark due to the interest they have recieved by phone.

Phil- They have added a last chance gambler's race on sunday. It is listed on their web site. No entry fee structure or purse info though. I would assume purse dependent on car count.

I won't be there, but I hope all goes well, especially with the deep staging. Be nice if NB would honor it on a regular basis and they said they would decide how that goes next year based on how this weekend goes.

They have forty trailers on the grounds this morning. I'm sure they will get more today and tomorrow. Chad sorry you won't be there. Wayne hope to see you there.

Phil, because it is supposed to be in the 30's tomorrow morning they have changed the gate opening time to 10:00 and time runs at 12:30. They want to give the track time to warm up to give the drivers every advantage.

Good luck to all. Safe travel. Ma Page

Hope all goes well, unfortuneately I won't be able to make it. Found out last night I will be taking care of business Saturday. Work first, play later. Kind of sucks that it all fell apart so I can't go this weekend.

I know. Just think if we didn't have deep staging. What would you have done today? By being able to deep your car you were able to make the adjustments to be competetive (almost stupid scary Wink Big Grin) on the tree. In your case you made the only feasible choice to race where you could be guaranteed an equal playing field. Good job today. Go get um tomorrow.
