Given multiple things such as: track surface, staging lanes, parking, bathrooms, concession etc… Which track is your favorite you have ever been to? Feel free to list a few

There's only 2 things I care about when I travel to a race track, is the track surface and the pits/roads.

That said, the best facility I've ever been to is Route 66 with Zmax a close 2nd, then
Galot
Bristol
Indy for the US Nationals

Now if you want a list of shyt holes, there are many!

Route 66 was really good, no longer a bracket program and closed past 3 years except for one event. Galot is my favorite, wish it was closer and like that the DoorSlammer race has moved there this November.

SlyFox
Bristol
PBIR/Moroso (now defunct I guess)
Pacific Raceway (Was called SIR when I was last there in 1983 - no idea if it is still nice)

I think Worldwide Technology Raceway near St Louis is my favorite track.Seems like I always do pretty good there.

And one year,I did poorly at the track, went to a casino, and hit $5,000 on a dollar slot.

The difference between ignorance and stupidity. Ignorance is lack of knowledge. Stupidity is the inability to learn. Don't be stupid

Norwalk, but the things I look for in a track is a reliable timing system and track surface/prep/retaining walls.

My home track, Keystone, for all of the memories and family I've made there. I feel that way about every track, really. I enjoy each and every one I've been to for those reasons. If we're talking nicest, then it's Norwalk and Bristol. Norwalk gets the edge for the $1 ice cream. Big Grin

For a poor guy like me without a motorhome, Topeka is really nice, paved pits, nice grass pits if it hasn't rained. Multiple hot showers and very clean restrooms. And the track surface is good. Only issue is its hotter than shyt in the summer when we race there.

For a smaller track, No Problem raceway Belle Rose La is pretty nice facility and I enjoy racing there, the owners have sunk a bunch of money into it. Also has hot showers for us poor folk. Air is always mineshaft early in the spring when we race there, track is descent, they just has it ground last year

Speedworld in Phoenix, also called P.R.P (Phoenix Raceway Park) was always one of my favorites, (except when the Haboobs' come thru). Had nice facilities for a track out in the middle of nowhere. No track lighting, just light towers at the finish line, that track was the reason I hooked my headlights back up, cause it got dark past the finish line and couldnt see any of the three turnoffs. Bob Curly was the track operator and you definitely didnt want to get on his bad side, but he knew how to put on a good race.
