Hey Tubligation....If you STFU and raced as much as you talk **** on this site your opinions might be worth a damn. Quit trying to drag everyone else into that black hole you are living in!!!!!
Remember, half the people you know are below average. |

I dont know what you two are fighting about, (and dont really care), but it looks like Top Dragster had a lot of cars and is a very healthy racing catagory.

Scott, Tube is simply a negative person, probably due to some event or events in his life, or his inner belief that he has failed at some level. We have all heard the saying "misery loves company", and Tube is a great example of that. He likes to see failure or people fail, such as not qualifying for a drag race. TD / TS are doing well, a bunch of cars laid out hard earned money to race and here in Las Vegas they will all get a chance at first round. I see that as a good thing.

Congratulations on winning the K&N Top Dragster Shootout at Vegas yesterday Mike. While you were racing, some keyboard assassin was busy throwing mud. So I asked myself, who do I have more respect for, the guy racing or the guy sitting at a computer trashing the racer?
Not hard to figure that one out. Congratulations again Mike! Bob |

Looks like more than 700 entries for the final Lucas Oil Series event of the 2009 season.
Doesn't surprise me in the least and to think that the season is about over and many have already started their refreshing programs and didn't go to Vegas, the car counts in both Top Dragster and Top Sportsman have to be impressive. Congratulations Mike on your big win in the K&N shootout, no push overs there... Thanks David Gerard for doing the updates and happy to see you here in the DRR forums. |

Very well said Mike! You guys have competition from as far away as R.I. and Hawaii. That's what I call a long tow. |

I want to know what kind of tow rig the guy from Hawaii used.

McMikie ,
First you tell me to STFU and then go into some wannabe psyco analysis babble about some previous life experience. Go to school and get a degree , then you can can put me under a microscope . Till then , try reading what I wrote and internalize it . You are a run of the mill Saturday night bracket racer (nothing wrong with that) who feels that the "Top" class should come to you , rather than having to make the commitment to step up. That race in Vegas would have been about average with the 32 nd car in at 7.170 With the pressure of having to actually having to qualify , I'm sure that it would have been somewhere in the bottom teen's or 0's ... that would have taken the last half a dozen out of their comfort zone by making them step on there sewing machine tune-up. I dont expect you to understand since you have never been there . Just know this , look where you and your "kickstand" fall in line below 32 ... and be greatful you live in the land of PuzzwaaDragster ..... * it will be dominated by nos and blown cars for sure * |

I don't necessarily agree with tubecarz that the field should be cut to 32 cars.
HOWEVER, it is just as wrong to open it to 64 where there really is no meaningful bump. In light of the fact that this race does pull the biggest turnout of any "top dragster" race in the nhra, then maybe a good compromise at 48 allows a lot of travelers and players, but doesn't turn it into basically a pay your entry fee and you can play race. a top dragster race should have a bump (and no I don't mean just 2 or 3 cars) when you can get in the show with a super comp car, then it's not a top dragster race.
