Glad to hear that she's ok Floyd. Got my second dose of moderna this morning. After all the hoopla we have to go through to get these darn things, I felt like I should have got a gold star for my forehead, or a sticker for my shirt, or at least a lollipop. Whats the world coming to...oh never mind its already here.Hmmmm, now that might be a good topic for a new thread.

Facebook copied and pasted ^ by some are not accurate ( it’s why I don’t have an account) and yes some will argue as you will read here.

Reading- The flu was virtually non existent due to masks, social distance and washing frequently so this I hope proves the system does have its Benefits.

Does this mean keep business closed, no!
I guess Texas will show if it’s a clean run or did we red light?
Everyone hopes we are through this bs!

Hope they got it right.

We all have our opinions and I call BS on the above. The reason the flu was non existent is it was counted as Covid to bolster those numbers. So now, to cover the lack of the existence of the flu, mask, distancing & washing takes an unverified bow. One is free to believe what they believe. Remember, when this all started Fauci said mask weren't of benefit. But now that we've spent a year under it's mandate the process has to be supported/validated.

How is that corroborated?

I asked my son how many flu cases they were seeing and he told me that they were testing for it and had seen some but nowhere near as many as usual. He had no exact idea as to why. I have decided, and obviously it's just a guess for me, that there has been some sort of change because of the China virus that is holding the normal flu down. If that isn't the case then it goes to show you how hand washing, cleaning, distancing and masks really help for some things.

Yes, if that isn't the case. Without data it just an opinion on both our parts.

I go for my second Moderna shot next wed....I had absolutely no reaction to my first one...I am a bit worried as the timing is not great...I get the shot at 9AM on wed. and need to go racing at 5AM on Friday to the SFG season opener at Bradenton...big enough money at 25, 50, 50K that I don't want to be under the weather for the event...we'll see I guess and fingers crossed...lol...

One of the girls at my boy's office had the same reaction to Moderna as my daughter. It effects some, and some it doesn't.

I'm thinking the drop in hit-by-bus deaths is also due to social distancing, masks, and hand washing. Take care. Tom Worthington

If it seems that bracket racing has gotten too expensive for you, maybe you are just doing it wrong.

Just got my 2nd Moderna. The site was being run by Fema. I think I insulted one of the workers when I said, oh look the federal government has taken charge, this will be screwed up in no time lol. He said I am here to help, and I acknowledged that to him but your leader Biden will find a way to screw things up.

I’m fully vaccinated as of last Thursday. Friday I had some issues, but no fever. Bones felt sore and just wanted a nap. I was stronger than ever Sat and rode 95 miles. Still cycled 405miles for the week. I’m on Strava if you also cycle. This also now lets me get back to my volunteer job, refurbishing kids bikes at a local bike shop with a nice group of fellow seniors. These refurbished kids bikes are given away on a one day event in Dec. 24” and smaller. 75% of the ones I R&R are 20”.
