The US truck protests are a little late.

All the DEM states are now removing mandates because they KNOW if they don't they will lose HUGE in November. The hilarious part is that the CDC has still stated that this is NOT the time to relax mandates but the DEMS know if they don't kill the mandates now they are signing their death warrant in November.

Not to mention the mandates have NO TEETH.
Here in Connecticut we were "Mandated" to get vaccinated and to mask up.
Well that didn't work out to well for them.

I work for a State run hospital. Only 60% of ALL the employees are vaccinated (including doctors, nurses, administrators, etc).
Our union stated we do NOT have to get vaccinated NOR do we need to wear masks in the non-hospital settings (administrative areas, hallways, offices, IT areas, cafeteria's, etc).
Don't get me wrong, you can IF you so choose but NO mandate.

The reason is, it needs to be presented to the union in writing and will need to have a start and end date, then needs to be accepted by the union, then needs to be voted on by all the union members and pass with a majority vote.

Guess what, It died on the vine and they still haven't sent anything to the union in writing to be discussed because they know it will never pass the vote.

My point is, if you want to VAX up and MASK up that is up to you BUT they (governments) can NOT mandate it.

Exactly! That’s what I posted a while back. As you Penn, buddy works for a large power co here with mandates. They soon realized they can’t get qualified folks now so if you loose more than half to mandates you are still in a deeper hole! It won’t work!
Agree the protest is a year late as usual! It’s winding down due to what's around the corner! Election time!

truck protests in the US get little traction as many of them are company owned and these companies won't participate. it seems that most non company drivers are not union. then there are the drivers that only worry about their own selves and keep on driving----leave the work that makes things better to someone else---greed.

Got an email from nhra regarding masks at Phoenix National. Must wear them inside or out regardless whether Vaccinated. Funny thing nobody is wearing them not even nhra staff. I think this is Indian rules. So much for that. This B.S. needs to be over!

Well....who of us over 50 will get the second booster? I will, still here after 2 years and 3 shots so why not. I get a flu shot every year and haven't had the flu in 20 years.
