I have heard conflicting rumors about 2010...does anyone know if the IHRA is planning to run the Summit Super Series again or not?...if not, do they plan to have some other type of series for us bracket racers?....thanks...

All Bracket racers will be required to complete the following in order to qualify for the Bracket Finals:

1. Work the popcorn/taffy apple booth at select national events.
2. Clean up the Elephant shyt off the starting after they finish the act between the pro show rounds.
3. Work a minimum of 3 days as a roady on the tiltawhirl.
4. Grow back in your Mullet.

Heard this first hand from the roady for the flying swings who is cousins with the guy who cleans the mud off the monster truck tires who happens to be 2nd cousin/uncle twice reomved from the Ring Master so you know you can print that shyt!

To me, it sounds like the SSS will be back. Thanks to Summit for their continued support of racers on all levels.

The SSS will be back from what I was told. The format will likely change for some. Summit really wants the runofff champions at the bracket finals to be the track champions so with that being said it appears as though the PR rating will be scraped. The Top Et winner from each track will be the SSS rep while the no box classes at each track will have to have a runoff of their mod, street and bike classes to determine who is the track rep for no box. The other thing I heard was that the local level payout from Summit will be less then in previous years and it will be up to each track to determine how to disperse it. This is what I was told back in September and it amy have changed somewhat since then. Kevin
