The Friday schedule will be revised to add the third qualify and time trial session from today and start earlier at 8:30am!

There was a long cleanup delay, as one of the TS cars took out both nets at the end of the track.

www.DragRaceCentral,com will have the revised schedule posted at the end of todays activities.

Nothing outside of the typical NHRA announcement:

"Out of the car and talking with the Safety Safety. He is being transported to a local hospital for observation."

Doug’s going to be a while. Banged up pretty good. Took them a while to get him out of the car. Out of respect for my budd and Chris I won’t get into details. He was racing us.

Heard that Doug has a dislocated elbow, bad road rash, broken ribs and collapsed lung. He is in ICU, alert resting, thats only update I got. All second hand. Will call Chris later.

When everything is coming your way, your probably in the wrong lane.

Dams, I hate to see that happen to anyone. It must have tore that car up quite a bit if it took out both nets.
Cars can be replaced. People can't. Hope for a quick recovery.

Thanks, Chris is here now working out details. He’s going to be there for a bit. Car won’t be released until he is. Their Family is all here, think they have it covered.

Dropping off Walt in Pomona to take Doug’s rig home. Doug’s doing better but probably a week before he can come home.
