HolytownYes, on Driven oil website. I bought some last season because they had a specific methanol blend and ran it all year. My bearings looked brand new, and I extended the oil changes from 20-25 runs with vr1 to 35-40 with Driven. Just change the filter half way through to make sure nothing is in it. Looks new still when I drain it at 40 runs.
I cannot say the same for VR1, even though its cheaper, methanol destroys it.

CURTIS REEDThat will save you a $1.07 plus the tax difference over buying from Summit. Savings is savings in my book.
I have started using the GP-1 running alcohol and am really happy with it.
I once ran their full synthetic XP-3 10-30 with alcohol and man was that a mistake. It would run off the parts so fast and complete that rust was a bad problem. Your results may vary but it didn't work out well for me. LOL

Does anyone know if there is a home test kit? I'd like to do some testing on various oils
