"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

I'm still trying to figure out what the dumba$$ was mad about. It wasn't the other racer's fault he sucks.

There is a difference amongst blame(for doing something stupid). A simple mistake is one thing, this is no simple mistake. Can you name another person who intentionally went into their opponents lane and made contact with them? Can you name a worse on track event that has ever taken place? I’ll wait on that. Do we not expect a more severe punishment for a more severe mistake?

Definitely not a simple mistake.

Bogacki wrote an appeal letter to NHRA. Maybe Hunter got his license back because of it?

Serious question - If intentionally crashing into another car won't get you suspended, what will?

How do you know this? Is this really true? If so very disappointing to hear. There is zero defense for what happened on video for the world to see.

You've never heard of a crime of passion defense? Sure you have, everyone has.

In criminal law, a crime of passion is a crime committed in the "heat of passion" in response to provocation, as opposed to one that was premeditated or deliberated.

You bleeding hearts are going way overboard with your crying about this.

You pretend as if something significant happened, when it didn't.

The only thing significant about Bogaki writing a letter is now he owns the kids future behavior. Bogaki knows this.

Other than that, who cares?

Only time will tell.

Letter or not, there’s no evidence that NHRA has changed their position on this, is there? Has Hunter been racing at any NHRA tracks?

Any rational person will agree, so good going! Welcome aboard!

Now the bleeding hearts on the other hand, will go on and on and on and on with their make believe, fairy tales & pretending.

The other perspective worth noting is, apparently Bogaki wants to race the kid.

But then again a good racer always want the best racers they can get in the race.

Did Bogaki, Hunter, or anyone else ever pay for the damages to the other racer's car?

Hunter paid the damages and apologized in person on his own

Well I’ve seen coaches approach teachers to change the grade so the star pupil can play in the big game. Total BS! Should never happen.

After all the safety talks Bogacki always gives on his podcast, him vouching for Hunter's actions is extremely hypocritical.
