how to get rubberb off bottom of shoes
i have alot of "bulit up" rubber (from being on the starting line) on the bottom of my shoes. they are not in too bad shape & they aren't exactly nice shoes I wear them work in anyway, but I'd like to try to clean it off. does anyone know the best way to clean them.

WD40 softens rubber pretty well.

If it seems that bracket racing has gotten too expensive for you, maybe you are just doing it wrong.

My first thought was a couple of good burnouts should do it! Gasket scraper followed by wd40 like tom396 suggested and then a little brake kleenex.

I just remembered sitting on the back of the golf cart dragging my feet all the way through the staging lanes to drag big chunks of rubber off of my shoes once.

Try 3m adhesive remover or any brand autobody wax and grease remover
