Why are ya'll using the word "protest" anyway? All the monkeys do is light **** on fire and loot each other. They deserve to get shot. So one half breed with adopted white parents says something and people actually give a ****? What are you doing watching the NFL in the first place? It's a black thug sport ment for the ghetto. I say let em act like monkeys it provides awesome entertainment.

Let me know when they start burning and stomping on American flags. Then we can have a real discussion.

We pay to watch games, we pay to watch movies. What gives Hollywood and the NFL the right to push their agenda while I’m watching ?? I salute those who gave it all to get where we are! My family has paid the price. So this BS hits close... I’ve been off nfl since it started. Pretty much done with the boob tube too.. the agenda they are pushing is not mine... Full Moon Tip PC

All I know is that this is going to affect the stock price of NKE.

If they increase sales because of this new product endorser, the stock will rise.

If their sales plummet, the stock will tank.

You can buy call or put options on the stock.

Place your bets!

We all have opinions...some stronger than others. It's our own decisions where we spend our money. Companies make their own decisions as well.

I will no longer buy Nike and I will not/have not support the NFL...its a choice we all have. We will never all agree one way or the other, like it or not.

No, but I'd be happy to stand if they did.

As far as I know, they never did. He gave up his career to stand up for others. Pretty noble of him.

You're welcome.

Yeah, wearing socks portraying cops (who risk their lives every single day for all of us) as pigs. How noble. What a great guy.

Actually the place where I was employed, the US Army frequently did play the National Anthem. Standing was mandatory, or be “escorted” to barbed wire city (the Stockade).

"Everyone has the Right to Protest" Well that is true and I have the Right to turn it off if the offend me.

It is not just Colin Kaepenick, it is all of the dog fighting, drug arrests, violence with their girlfriends and just the whole deal they think they are above the laws that have turned me off. And it is not just Football, Hollywood and Washington has turned same direction and I do not like it.
I do not like it when they tell us to do as they say and not as they do.

As for the child labor overseas we can not do much about that. I believe the way to address that would require a complete overhaul of Tax system. Right now only the LEGAL working people in America are supporting our National Government through Income tax. (State and local are sales tax)

I believe that the system needs to be changed to point of sale so it would not matter where it was made or if you are a tourist, illegal alien, American citizen or what you still pay same tax rate. No free rides for illegals and the Federal tax burden would not lie solely on the backs of the working man (or Woman).

That would do several things, it would lower overall tax burden on working man but also make it more competitive to manufacture here in America because of that reduced tax burden.

I have been to China and it is not as most of you think. The streets were clean and in better shape than they are here. I did not see one single homeless person although I did see some doing trivial work such as sweeping streets, wiping hand rails etc. It appears that everyone must work no free rides. The architecture was new and very nice and the businesses were clean and very organized. The people were paid pretty good and dedicated.

I am not saying there is not child labor there they may be but I am saying it is not exactly as we think or have been told.

Back to original subject I will not support NFL or Nike because I feel strongly about America. What you do is your business but if you expect me to Respect you then you will not be robbing, raping, dog fighting, disrespecting our Flag and Anthem etc.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

Here's what everyone seems to be missing about Kaepernick. (regardless of which side of the "issue" you're on) He didn't sacrifice anything. He lost his job as starting quarterback (on a losing team) BEFORE he started kneeling. I don't believe he started his crap for "social justice". He started it to draw attention to his self. He has more money and fame today than he would have if he would have stood during the Anthem.

Curly, don't know where you went in China, but you haven't seen half of it.......

In their manufacturing areas you can't get out of the car without a mask on. You don't leave the hotels, you don't walk the streets.

Sure, I bet they have nice areas, but where they actually manufacture stuff, like PC Board blanks, you can not safely breathe outdoors.

That is true right here in America, try walking south side of Chicago after dark. Actually I have been to Vietnam, Turkey, Russia and China and none of them are as we are told they are.
I was in Aruba, the tourist area was pretty nice the real Aruba not so much.
I know there has to be bad spots in China but do not believe everything you hear or see on TV. They only show you what they want to you to see.

I have friends and customers that go to China very often, I will never, ever go there. It may be a one-way ticket for me. They have no concern about pollution where "normal" visitors will ever go. Their industrial areas are appalling. One of the many reason they can manufacture there for far less than we can here. No pollution controls at all.
