Mother Nature can be a f1ckle woman, but at least for the first two Sundays in November she has given racers in Northern Ohio what they want... more drag racing opportunities.

Dragway 42 will host another single entry fee, 1/4 mile test and tune with optional, 100% payback, 1/8th mile gambler race this Sunday, November 8th.

The 2009 schedule will continue as long as the weather forecast and conditions allow.

Racers don't have to dig too deeply into the memory bank to remember a pair of recent Novembers where Mother Nature allowed Dragway 42 to host highly attended "Turkey Trot" events over back to back Thanksgiving weekends.

Here's to hoping that the weather gods will allow the same in 2009!

I dought Red will be there since he'll be at the Canton swapmeet.

The last few times, Canton's swap meet has been a ghost town after Saturday.

I'm thinking about going to the swapmeet then Sunday going to 42... ..while in Canton I'll ask Red if he has any there or if he'll be there..

Depends on how much I use on Saturday but no more than 3 gallons. I'm near the bottom of the barrel now and I don't want to break the seal on a fresh drum before winter. My son and I are the ones that run the Banshees at TRP.
