Going to Chico CA Mar. 8th to have our 100 gal. diesel auxiliary tank installed. They need to test the install & the tank needs to be filled. Not looking forward to paying CA prices, but it has to be done. Wink

Diesel here so far hasn't gone up very much, about $.30 - $.50 a gallon so far, but gas has has skyrocketed. It's up over $.60 in the last week, up almost a $1.00 in the last three..and still climbing....The two most expensive stations I know of in the denver area both have gone up nearly $2.00 on both gas and diesel in the last month....not sure why people even buy fuel there when less than a mile away is another station that's $.60-.80 a gallon cheaper at one place, and right across the street from the other, same deal....

Drove from Nashville to Port Clinton, Ohio last weekend. Diesel from 3.59 to 4.59. Gas here got to 2.84 last week, but has bumped back to 3.09-3.19 this week. Very volatile right now.

People always say "Gas is $x.xx where I live", but it really depends on the station. Prices often vary $.30 or more even in a very small area.

If you use the GasBuddy app or www.gasbuddy.com you can look up the prices at virtually every station in the country, as well view price history charts. (On a side note, you can also save money with the app, both directly and by earning GasBack by shopping with many major retailers they have partnered with.)

Gas Buddy is good as long as someone posts the price---here its lots of no posts to several days old posts. But it helps. My BP card gets me fifteen cents a gallon off which adds up to a lot in the motor home. You are right though I have seen it $1.00 higher 2 blocks down the road!
