Time will tell how she handles all the pressure from the NHRA, the tracks and the racers. D4 only has 1 divisional left and its next week in Tulsa, after its done she should able to relax a little bit and settle into the new job. I had a negitive encounter with her a couple of years ago, not of her doing just delivering a message from Trey that I had to re run a round I had won, I was really pissed and in her face and she stayed calm and held her ground.
If she does not succeed it wont because of her work ethic, when I arrived mid day on Tuesday of the motorplex double she was out in the very hot TX sun by herself with a tape measure and can of spray paint marking all the reserved pit spots.

But- will somebody please tell me why it is sooo important to worship at the church of diversity and appoint women and minorities to positions to which they are obviously not qualified.

When affirmative action just isn't enough, diversity hires swoop in to save the day.

Women in power is just another way to destroy the family structure. The more torn the family is, the more reliant on government. The next director will probably be transgender.

So many disgusting posts here.

Congratulations on the promotion, and let’s hope things improve for the D4 racers. I’ve only run one D4 event and it was fine, but I’ve heard many complaints over the years.

Revolving door? Ive been racing here for 30 years, and to my memory Mady makes the third... I could be wrong, definitely not a revolving door tho

J.R. The revolving door goes back over 12 years ago, started before Wayne Paul of ETown held the position for 5 minutes.

I will assume she is qualified and deserving unless she does something to prove otherwise. If this is something she wanted, good for her.

Good for her, hopefully she can create/discover/promote something worth going to in divisional racing.

Still going to be a tough crowd for a young lady to accommodate. Good luck to her.

What manners and professionalism? On this site? pffft!

The internet (this site) has become the cesspool for some…….
What’s the issue? Did anyone question Georgia Seipel’ abilities when she became Sonoma Drag strip manager? She ran a tight ship and if you didn’t like it she would escort you to the gate. Georgia would have made an excellent Division Director. Ask anyone! I highly doubt we will ever see the way it was here.

internet forums are all about opinions and I posted mine. There is nothing disgusting nor jaw-dropping ridiculous about my opinion nor do I care who disagrees with it.

Division 4 drag racing goes the way of oil production.

Common sense.

That is where I am at, I hope she does well and will not say much other than I hope she earned the job based on performance and not just because of Gender or Color. That would be stupid to choose someone for a very important job and only use color and gender as the basis for hiring them.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

I wouldn't exactly call myself a new world man. But her sex really doesn't matter to me. Why should it? Hopefully it didn't matter to the person who put her in the role. If it did matter, that's setting a person up for failure.

As far as attacking the nuclear family structure: Well that ship sailed about 65 years ago or better. In fact, a lot of women never left the workplace after WW2. If a man and a woman can't work together to raise decent children, then it has little to do with the woman working. They are just crappy parents.

No said women shouldn't work. Children need a responsible parent at home, not at the babysitter, head start, public school etc. Dad's should be whooping "their" kids asses when they screw up. Before they get Jr. High. Everyone talks about how childcare is higher than the amount the parent makes. Then stay at home and raise your damn kid. If you need 2 incomes to support your family, then live within your means don't sell your kids to the system.

I too wish her the best but lets face the facts of the world we live in today. Every minority is being pushed down our throats, the freakier the better.... Pete Buttigieg anyone? Willingness of conservatives to turn the other cheek and assume the higher moral ground has got us where we are today. NO more common sense gun laws, which is just a phrase for another step forward for the liberal agenda. As said, if she's capable and earned it great but the percentage in today's upside down world gives a thinking person pause.

Ok
But since when is a successful woman of any color not mainstream? The fact that nhra has never yet before now had a woman come through the ranks with what it takes to be a director kinda gives me pause. Why throw women in with all the trans/homo/identity crisis folks?

Allowing drag queen story time in schools is no moral high ground.

If there's an identity crisis, it's orchestrated.

All this crap is being forced down these young childrens throats, what do ya think that'll do to them later in life, when they're young, they are the most impressionable.

All this crap is being orchestrated and institutionalized. Go find some video of these drag queen story time they do with young children with a neon sign hanging for all these children to see saying "it won't lick itself"

This country is off the rails, has nothing to do with Division 4 hiring a female.

These people are prepping children not mature enough to even know what's going on.

I saw the video last night, couldn't believe my eyes what they're subjecting kindergarden age children to.

Go find the video, this chit is being institutionalized into schools.
