She had previously managed 2 different tracks so at least she is already familiar with how much racers can whine about stuff. LOL I hope she does a great job.

I had been treated well by our old director in the dealings I had with him but I heard lots of complaints about him.

I heard there was a long list ofcreasons Trey Capps was fired for but none made public

Mady has been Trey Capps administrative assistant the last few years so she knows the ins and outs of D4 pretty well. Her husband Matt is also a full time NHRA tech inspector.
Hope she does well but I think there is allot of pressure on her with all the loss of NHRA tracks in D4 the past few years for various reasons, the NHRA bracket finals is pretty much a Oklahoma shoot out with the closure of a few tracks in Texas and a couple switching over to the IHRA.

My thoughts too, she’s got no real experience nor skills at this age managing people. Tells me no one more qualified wanted the job. Good luck to her but I’m betting she’s not in this position for long.

Same as always. Why even speak if he knows nothing about it?

Here’s what I know, she’s been the “Acting Division Director” since 4/12 following Trey Capps firing. Further I know that D4 has had a revolving door when it comes to directors.

Once again you are talking of something you know nothing about.

There is a reason Andy Carter and Trey was relieved of their duties.

Well, regardless of her age, the lady seems entirely qualified for this position. But- will somebody please tell me why it is sooo important to worship at the church of diversity and appoint women and minorities to positions to which they are obviously not qualified. President Biden's last two high level appointments are perfect examples.

I'll have to defend Mady on this one. We thought they were probably going to bring someone in to replace Trey before next season. I don't know if she saw this coming or even wanted it. She was in charge at our Double Divisional at the Tx Motorplex last month. It went pretty smooth on top of that. As Director she has a wealth of knowledge with some of our long time D4 guys. Some things changed at that race. Super Street went back to being Super Sweep in the mornings. Other than that it was business as usual. They had been alternating Stock and Super Stock first out. The last two doubles we've had were a C/F. The Tx Motorplex and NHRA D4 were understaffed. They were still understaffed this time but it went pretty smooth. I operate Jukeboxes and Pool Tables for a living. I get tired of whiney ass pool players. I couldn't imagine being Division Director. Lol

I forgot to say that I totally agree about the gender thing. Why couldn't they just say that she's the new Director?

All I care about is hiring most qualified.
