Is any one going to the race Sunday the 8th at CFRC? It looks like it might be worth going too. Not a big pay out but it's just there first bracket race. They said if more cars show they will pay more. It's already better than Lakeland.

Anyone know if they allow dragsters? Not real clear on the website.

I don't see why not. I heard that the stopping was short but the site says it has a 1020' of shut down. Some cars have already been 5.0's and stopped.

Yes, I will be there...I plan on arriving around 9AM...I will be racing in the 7.99 and quicker class..what will you be racing?...I will be in this...stop and say hi...

The run out is no problem for my slow quap...it feels about like Lakeland to me...I hear they are working on extending it...

I haven't raced there yet. I stumbled on the place one day coming back from Tom Waters Race Car Prod.

I was able to drive into the facility and check it out. Pit area looks a little skimpy (not large) Couldn't really tell how long shutdown was. There looks to be a large hump to cross on the pit road. That may make it hard for dragsters to cross there. If a 5.0 car can stop there I can. It's located in an area where noise won't be a problem.

It's tourist season here, so why can't we shoot 'em?

You can get off at the seaworld exit and take that road all the way to the end.

The Old Rule of Thumb is what you run up you should have A min of double that in shut down
660ft ya need 1320 shutdown and as fast as cars are today i agree. Its a 1020 shutdown ya its short .there will be alotta cars in the sand trap.

I will be there around 10-10:30. I have a two car trailer with a purple malibu and a white monte carlo SS. If they let me I might double the malibu in the 7.99 and faster class and the electronics class. The SS will run street. Just bought it for my wife, not sure if I or she is driving it tomorrow. You guys stop by and say hi if you have time. Also a buddy of mine is coming with a Buick GS (green) he will be pitted with me. Im with you guys, lets show them some support and hope they do some regular brackets. Actually I hope they keep them on Sundays. I think Charlie (10.90 streetcar) might show up also. Hope the turn-out is decent for the first one.

Rob. not sure if I'm gonna make it. Had the camaro out on Fri. but never made a pass (starter issues). And I'm not taking the digger there.

Sorry to hear that Charlie. That thing is rough on starters huh? I wouldn't bring the digger there either. Shut down is way short for rolling that quick. Heck, I already plan on turning mine down just to be safe. New car with one pass wednesday night, I should be a duck anyhow.
