"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

Thanks Curly, it tows really nice also!

We had used a low mileage 2004 Dodge dually for about 2K miles towing the trailer. While we were very grateful to use the Dodge; what a night & day difference between the 2 trucks.

I still really enjoy working thankfully in my 50’s. But I know me. When I’m done I’m done. So I want to be ready. The market has not been kind to my 401k during this administration.

I’m not sure how I could afford to retire. I imagine when not traveling I’d be building stuff. Race cars worst case. That’s an expensive lifestyle. It’s cheaper to keep going to work for me!

Bucky, you aren't wrong about the market hit we are taking. I'm only down 10% this year, (so far) but that's still a lot of money.

The HP isn't too bad either, but torque is king for towing.

The trailer is super nice also! Wink

It has a 24' awning I haven't used either, like most who don't in Vegas.

Taking my special lady ("Boss Lady" according to the one son) to the jewelry store today for her 40th wedding anniversary present. She's a very special person to put up with the likes of me.

Life is good!

It was nice taking the dog for a walk this morning, with the surrounding mountains having fresh snow. We normally take a walk 5 to 6 times a week, then I take my walk afterwards. After the walks I do some light weightlifting & calisthenics.

Only regret is not retiring earlier.

Our new dog, a five year old female rescue from Tijuana, takes us for a walk every morning. She seems to avoid walking on grass and prefers sidewalks/paved areas. This cute and loving shizzoodle mix had been beaten and abused for a good portion of her life when she was discovered walking the streets in search of food and shelter. Pet stores in California no longer sell animals so we decided to find a rescue, it turned out to be a great idea.

That seams like a lot of money for a F350. I picked up a 2018 F450 with 3800 miles for 60K out the door and it had a spare 53 gallon fuel tank in the bed with a roll up bed cover.
