I enjoyed that track when I raced the truck, the air is very good. Wouldn't mind going back to race again. Do they even race Divisionals there anymore? 1980 Camaro Taking the Best Working Small Tire Shyt Box & making it Greater Than Before! ![]() 3050 lbs. After reading this post I decided to check my notes and see what the closet field ever was. Surprised to see that it was Chicago in 2002 when Gene Wilson qualified number one at 6.819 and Mark Osborne was number 16 at 6.842. Floyd, you owe me nothing for this…lol L8R, Mike

Nice to have readily accessible notes. That was incredible back in 2002 would be impossible today.

I am wondering why it would be impossible? ____________________________ 2017 and 2018 Osage Casinos Tulsa Raceway Park No-Box Champion 2018 Div4 Goodguys Hammer award winner

I wouldn't say impossible, but I would say statistically far less possible due to the number of cars attempting to qualify now vs then.

Well in my line of thinking… They are all running the same motor now, fewer motor builders, same chassis's and more info being shared. You’re going to see tighter fields this year. They cannot afford to not share info. Less qualified cars means less points, money, sponsors and the possibility of less class next year. Raceless in California!
