That is good news indeed, and I figure too that many will now vote for the pro-2nd Amendment candidate.

But like one Trump-hating 'friend' of mine (who just bought her first pistol)says, "they're only after the 'assault' rifles".

That was one of the most ignorant statements I've ever heard in my life from anyone. And I think that may be a common misconception among new gun owners, those who bought handguns.

But just the same, I hope you're right.

Around here all the gun stores have been saying anywhere between 2000 and 3000 people ahead of you for background checks for the last couple months. Been taking several days for the check to clear before you can take a gun out of the store.

Shelves and gun racks are getting pretty empty in stores. Lots of new first time buyers.

Thinking about this.I do see a possible down side.Comes from amovie I watched long time ago.

SHort of it. A mans wife is shot while they are out for dinner. He gets town ordance made that everyone carry's a gun. Few seens where bad guys start to rob a place and see all the guns and change mind. Then come the Hollywood liberal side. Where a robbery does happen.Towns folk try to stop it and ned up shooting a cpl other towns folk in crossfire. Making the moral of movie being that its dangerous for everyone to have a gun.

I can see where a bunch or new gun owners could cause a problem as such if they have no idea how to safely defend themselves and others while shooting those who need to be shot.
Don't get me wrong I think everyone should a few guns or like me little more than a few. I just hope they know how and when to use them. I know it can be very tempting to use it when you think you need to and it could be avoided. The problem is as they tell you in CCW class'.Even if you are 100% justified .You are going to jail. May ony be few hours or cpl days. Its going to cost you butt load of money. You will have to live with fact you killed the POS.For some thats not issue for others it is huge. You can not honestly say unless you have done it.
The upside is you might get a common sense law enforcement that sees it as self defense and sends you home. Even if it cost you everything you have, you are alive and can work to regain the money. Guilt thing is something you can learn to handle hopefully.

On guilt side of that. Like I said nobody knows how they will handle that unless have done it. I believe that if its my family,my life or them and they cause it. I will not feel one ounce of guilt. Maybe wrong.

I really have no clue on how to wager on something like that.
Joe Bitin' could sign some unconstitutional executive order and ban some things, I reckon. He could somehow compel the ATF to declare other things illegal.

I pray to God that Republicans take the two Senate seats from Georgia that are up for grabs, in the run-off elections there on 5 January. The Demonrats are already working on rigging that election as well, as is covered elsewhere.

I'm confident that the Democrats will win at least one of those two seats.

But even with a lead of 51 to 49 for the Senate Republicans, that small difference could be made up by the d@mn RINOs in the Senate.
However, I do have some hope in the moderate Democrats in the Senate.

And I hope too that the commie's gun control stance turns out to be just another empty campaign promise.

If some crazy ******* goes on another shooting rampage, especially in a school, then all bets are off.

If the demon-0RATS get full control you can bet dollars to donuts that there will be a HUGE tax on ammunition. What good is a weapon without it?

TAKE IT TO THE BANK!!!!!

IF the democrats get the White House and IF the Democrats win in the Georgia senate races, I think they could actually do it. It would be very ugly, but I really believe they would try it. Take care. Tom Worthington

If it seems that bracket racing has gotten too expensive for you, maybe you are just doing it wrong.

I concur. I think it likely that the demonrats will win at least one of those two seats in the Senate. And even if they technically come up short in the democrat/republican ratio, there are enough RINOs in the Senate to make up the difference.

Like the t-shirt on facebook said. I promise I will just use the tip. Most of the tips around here are 7mm or .284 and the rest are heavily dominated by .451 rather it be 45 acp,45 colt or 460 S&W . Heck someone had to fire the shot heard around the world in 1776.By the way I want me one of those guns, but recoil is going to be SOB.

Bill 1446 is coming up for vote. It does not take your guns away. That is if you can prove that you should be allowed to have agun.

HR-8 is not going to take guns. It will how ever cause you a year in prison and 100k fine for letting someone you know borrow you gun.
