As we've all undoubtedly heard, the media has portrayed VP Kamela Harris as having a few 'firsts'. The first female VP, the first black VP, the first South Asian VP.

I don't know about you guys, but I don't consider her to be the first in any of those areas.
She really has no particular merit or qualifications; she was selected as Creepy Joe's running mate only because she's a woman and is non-White.

That was intended to help sway the non-White and female voters.

Her being from California too helped in selecting her as running mate, to sway the California voters with the state's whopping 55 electoral votes.

Her influence may have been small, but quite significant I think considering that some of the states that President Trump lost were states where he trailed by a scant few tenths of a percent.
