Dion, I asked this exact question on Facebook with no response... It looks like they may get some racing in today, but tomorrow looks iffy. It would be nice to race for 4K on Sunday even if the daily entry was adjusted.

Agree.

Since you brought this up...Kids joy riding pit vehicles needs enforcement also. Not picking on Quaker either. See it everywhere I go.

Did a great job on the "no black top parking", just a couple "above the rules" guys this weekend.

Now we need to learn not to schedule so many things on the same day. 2-3 am isn't fun for ANYONE involved!

I wasn't there but heard it was better. I am never in the race long enough to still be in at 2-3 am so I can't complain about that.
I do agree on the kids out riding around all day on atv and such. It happens everywhere but when a kid gets hurt or worse killed them all the other racers will end up paying for it. A few years ago at Halloween classic I had a kid slam into side of buddies golf cart I was driving with a motorcycle and hit me hard enough to bend the forks on the bike but luckily nobody got hurt but the day is coming.

Nope, not for me. One of the things that draws me to Quaker is the earlier start and typically a reasonable finish time. I hope this doesn't become common place. Waaay past my bedtime. LOL

No problem with that if I go out 1st round.

I just finished changing the cooling unit in the RV fridge. I wasn't spending the weekend without a working fridge. Of course, looking at the forecast, could probably just set the stuff outside.

Will there be anyone from the track there? I walked by the booth at the Piston Power Show 4 times on Saturday and there was no one working it. It's a shame too because the booth was close to the entrance so there was a lot of traffic. It was a great opportunity to get some information out to potential customers. I was wearing my Great Pumpkin Race shirt and I had a few people ask me what it was. I wanted to direct them to the booth but with no one there, they couldn't get any information so why bother?
