it appears the 272 carbon fiber spitzers make a real nice, lightweight purpose built top dragster but im hearing the ride on them is just horrendous, real bad bouncers.

any experience on these cars and how to tame them?

Rumor going around front suspension in addition to the rear suspension conversion is the way to eliminate that. Welder

Question, are the bouncers climbing on the brakes that hard? Car unloading/rebound? No chutes? Track? I’m sure a suspended car would help. The weight/et comes into play but if you are bracket racing weights not an issue or if you have an abundance of HP... I remember some bouncing in my Ron Fry ultra light car but most of the time pretty sure it was me. How do TF and TAD deal with it?

Hardtails and aggressive braking DO NOT go well together.

I've run 199+ in the 1/8th, no chute no problem. On the long track chute is a must.

I drove one a few year back for someone and didnt notice any issues. Car was smooth. Granted I only went 6.8s in the high 190s in it but no bouncing issues. If Im not mistaken that car was built with the motor up a degree or two similar to a comp car which makes the chassis work great but can be less forgiving in the shutdown. But again I didnt notice it.
