Blown Alcohol Exhaust Temps and A/F?

As a newbie to blown alcohol, I have a couple of planning questions.

We haven't been able to get on the dyno yet with our new 548ci F-3R-112 ProCharger engine due to the backorder status on several major components [pins, rockers, etc.]

We are looking to be in the 1700-2000 HP range and run in the low 6.40's to high 6.30's for reliability and repeatability. Top Dragster is a fast bracket race and we aren't looking for "hero" numbers!

1. What are the exhaust temps I can expect on an safe alcohol motor tune?
2.About what A/F ratios?
3. Spark plug reading?

Looking for serious answers!

Thanks...

DG

On my buddy's funny car (Not top alky, just a blown alky car), we see exhaust temps of about 1100-1250 depending on tune. Plugs have about 1/2 of the base ring colored and timing mark is between the end of the strap and the bend. Tune is very safe and easy on parts....He's making about 20-22lbs of boost.

Once the plugs are right, then go to the EGT/AF ratio.

Reitow's likely reply:

Don't read the plugs!!! Run a TSI converter, his trans, and triple chrome plate your car! Hit the cone, your et will be fastest ever in your category and you'll be able to prove it with time slips that are 20 years old and have the car number covered up so you can't actually say they are yours!!!

Sorry, couldn't resist.......

On my old combo. 526 Hemi with 14-71 and 45 lbs boost. !000 was little cold,1050 was about perfect,1100 I told diver to pull that bearing and check and 1150 plus we probably found during leakdown.

As for plugs.NGK's all cadium gone and right at firs thread was great, some cadium rich and if 2nd thread back off little.

Read plugs, bearings and ET slip then EGT's.

Also 650 on line and 750 by 60' or 1 second. Worked great for us and came from Ralph Gorr the best fuel system guy in the business,IMO
