Well the season is almost over, so i figured why not start another old race car pic thread to get us through the winter. hope everyone participates.
Heres mine....

PhotobucketThis pic is of my dads Chevelle probably around the 88-89 time frame. Notice the old green wrecker to the right of the line, a staple of the grove for years when i was little. Also check out the sponser suits just beeing built, the tower had just been moved to the left lane side recently. The old guard rails are weird looking too, and the track looks way narrow. Im only 28, so this is how i remeber the race track when i was little.

Thanks guys...

Yup. It looks like the way I wanted it to look since I dreamed about it when I was little kid. It's had a few paint jobs and a few drivetrains over the years but it's still my dream car. I'll have owned it 25 years in 2010 and there is still a list as long as my arm of stuff I want to do....

Anyone else have any pics?

One of my best bracket racing cars that I've had ............ raced it from about "77 to '87 .................. SURPRISE!!!, it's a wagon! .............. used for family .. work .. and of cousre, racing.

I hauled all of the treated lumber for our original deck, in the back of it ......... that was fun.

Dave, I remember that dark green wagon. Every time I raced you, that car found the win light.

I love looking back at how some of the old photos look and still wish that the track kept it the way it was. I think there are some old photos of my dads vette and camaro.

There's Paul Werner's early ride.

And I believe he purchased Brucher's Altered/Roadster, years later.
