... yeah ............. even heard a jr dragster race, where both were double "o" and 1 up on their dials! Mark ...... I waived a little late , when you went by on your scooter ..................... I was talking to Bill Ranck, about a noise that I heard in the wagon ... when I hit the brakes at the stripe, on my Pro buyback run. Told him, I just might find out what that noise was .. soon ............... and soon, my question was answered ... Mark ....... your car always looks sharp ... and your racing still looked sharp .... for the little that you race, anymore! Jack ........... I gotta tell ya again ....... I really like the new look of your ride, also. In the future results, I'll try to keep track (if I can) of the names of racers who go late rounds (4th, 5th,) ........ to give credit to the good day they had, also. .............. like, this past Sunday ..... names like Brock Moshier .. Don Long, Jr. .. Dave |

Yeah Dave, I was pleased with my racing! I am back for points too! I stuck that racing needle in my arm again!!!! I have to say the year off was refreshing, and I am really enjoying myself at the track again. I would recommend that anyone who is frustrated and burnt-out just step away for a little while. It really helps.

I hear maple grove didn't cut checks to racers, because they didn't have paper tto write checks ? Preparations were lacking in other areas, reruns were abundant, Doesn't sound like everybody's doin' their job.

Wait a minute here. Lets back up and look at what happened this weekend at Maple Grove. The staff did a heck of a job getting things completed. Oil downs were abundant on Saturday and there was a ton of down time. None of this was the fault of Maple Grove. The reruns were due to glare from the sunlight onto the fibre optics which was promptly corrected for Sunday. The car count was very high on Saturday and with the amount of down time, we were still given both of our time runs and the event was finished. Any issues that showed up on Saturday were definitely corrected promptly for Sunday. As for the check issues, they are all going to be mailed out to anyone who was to get one. I don't believe it had anything to do with not having paper to print them. The check printer was not working properly.

For as many people who were waiting to get into Maple Grove saturday, you did not have to wait that long. The guys at the ticket booth did a good job getting everyone through.

"Team Vertigo's" got everyone's check! ... right? .......... payback time! .......
"He probably told Lex to give them all to him, and he would distribute the checks to everybody." > Hey Mark Ketterer ........... what the heck is goin' on with that new "top end shizell". Checkin' out the live timing results ... either you had car trouble (or was it the stupid headwind yesterday), or it's time to iksnay on that stuff! I got somethin' you might want to try, if you want to keep on doin' that stuff. Gettin' back to "Cecil" ............ gotta tell ya's .... Art Hand made one of his few trips to the County, yesterday ........ and man!, he was just knockin' 'em down, left and right. I know for sure ......... I was his 1st round victim. Way to go, Art! ... (and everybody was talking about your great looking Falcon, also. Hey Sean, and or Mark .......... you guys bringin' that "Aspen Power" to the County, this comin' Sunday. Maybe Goatman can make another rare appearance ........ (if so, don't forget the banana bread). Dave |

Sean, I agree on the Saturday problems... you can't really blame the track if racers are dumping crap on the track. They spent alot of time on alot of clean-ups. I got a phone call at 8:00 AM Saturday telling me that cars were lined up on the road along the staging lanes waiting to get in. I rolled on at 9:00 and there was no line at all. They did a good job getting everyone in.
Dave Raser, keep quiet on the 'top end shizell'. The car is fine, just needs a good driver some days. Not sure where I am going this weekend, was thinking Numidia, we'll see. I got home in time to watch the live timing on Sunday. That video/audio feed is very cool. Mark |

Hey Dave,
This half of "Aspen Power" will definitely be at Numidia on Sunday. Weather permitting!!! Any chance you can get that Vandenheuval guy to come back to Cecil County?? LOL. He was unstoppable this weekend! |
